Apple Cider and Spiced Bourbon

INGREDIENTS

• Cinnamon sticks for garnish

• 4 cups of unfiltered apple cider

• 1/2 cup bourbon

• 1 teaspoon allspice

• 1 teaspoon sugar

• 2 - 3 lemon slices

• 1 apple thinly sliced


 

INSTRUCTIONS

• In saucepan bring cide, bourbon, allspice, sugar, 2 cinnamon sticks, 2 lemon slices, apples, to a simmer over medium heat. DO NOT boil.

• Reduce heat to low and cook for 25 minutes.

• Strain cider mixture through a fine mesh sieve.

• Discard solids.

• Garnish with cinnamon stick if you like. Serve warm.
