Broccoli, Potato, Cheese Soup

Sunny Florida has now hit a big whopping 65-ish* and dropping. Now, if you live here on the Treasure Coast you'll know that winter here usually last 48 hours if we're lucky! It's like Mother Nature turned on the a/c...... Whoo Hoo. So here is a toasty warm soup recipe.


INGREDIENTS

• 2 cups cubed potatoes

• 3 tablespoons chopped onion

• 1 (10 oz.) frozen broccoli florets

• 1/4 stick butter

• 1 tablespoon all purpose flour

• 2 cups cheese (cheddar - sharp)

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• 5 1/2 cups milk


 

INSTRUCTIONS

• Cook potatoes and onion in boiling water - Drain

• Add in slow cooker potatoes, onion and rest of the ingredients

• Cook low for 4 hours
