Chai Bourbon Tea

INGREDIENTS

• 6 Cups of milk (whatever you choose)

• 2 Cups of water

• 1/2 cup sugar

• 3 Vanilla beans (split in half)

• 4 - 6 Cardamom pods

• 2 Cinnamon sticks

• 1 tsp. whole cloves

• 1/8 tsp. nutmeg

• 5 shai tea bags

• 1/2 bourbon

• Whip cream to top


 

INSTRUCTION

• Bring to a boil; milk, water, sugar, nutmeg, vanilla beans, cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.

• Remove from heat and add tea bags, and cover for about five minutes.

• Pour mixture through a fine mesh sieve, getting rid of solids.

• Stir in bourbon (as much or little as you like).

• Top off with whipped cream, sprinkle cinnamon and add cinnamon stick if you desire.
