Pecan Ale Gravy

INGREDIENTS


• 3 tablespoons mesquite seasoning blend

• 1/2 cup all purpose flour

• 1 (12-oz.) bottle pecan nut brown ale

• 1 1/2 chicken broth

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper


 

INSTRUCTIONS


• Heat reserved drippings in roasting pan over medium heat. Sift flour over drippings, whisking to combine. Cook whisking frequently, until thickened, 3-4 minutes. Gradually add ale, whisking to remove any lumps. Add broth, whisking to combine. Cook until thickened, 6-8 minutes. Add salt and pepper whisking well.
