Of course you've heard of pork chops and applesauce. What about a little twist and do apple slices instead?
INGREDIENTS
• 4 - 5 pork loin chops
• 2-3 medium apples, peeled, and sliced
• 1 teaspoon butter
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• pinch of salt and ground pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
• Heat skillet, add chops, brown.
• While chops are browning , place half the sliced apples in the slow cooker. Top with two pork chops. Then repeat in layers. • Add a little butter and sprinkle with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
• Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
