Blackened Fish

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Tsp cayenne pepper

  • 2 Tsp Garlic powder

  • 2 Tsp black pepper

  • 2 Tsp onion powder

  • 2 Tsp paprika

  • 2 Tsp parsley

  • 2 Tsp salt

  • 2 Tsp oregano

  • 2 Tsp thyme

  • 5 Pieces of fish (thawed or fresh)

  • 1/2 Cup unsalted butter


 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mix cayenne, black pepper, garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, thyme,together - Press both sides of fish with seasoning.

  • Large pan heat skillet over high heat

  • Pour butter into pan - add fish - turning once until blackened crust is formed

  • Cook about six minutes

  • Garnish and serve
