Air Fryer Plantains

INGREDIENTS


  • 3 TBSP unsalted butter

  • 2 TBSP canola oil

  • 2 TBSP sugar

  • 5 Ripe plantains


 

INSTRUCTIONS


  • Preheat airfryer to 380*, melt butter

  • Combine oil and sugar. Whisk to dissolve.

  • Cut Plantains into half inch thick slices

  • Cover only half of the plantain with butter mixture.

  • Cook for 5 minutes them flip and brush with butter mixture and cook for 5 more minutes.

  • Increase to 400* cook 3 more minutes on each side until tender

  • Coat the remaining butter mixture and serve with black beans and rice
