Beef and Wild Rice

INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup uncooked wild rice

• 1 cup celery

• 1 cup carrots

• 1 lg. onion, chopped

• 1 garlic clove, chopped

• 3 beef bouillon cubes

• 3/4 teaspoon salt

• 1 - 2 lbs. boneless steak cut into cubes

• 1/2 lbs. chopped mushrooms

• Fresh parsley


 

INSTRUCTIONS

• Place all the above into slow cooker except mushrooms.

• Cover & cook on low for 6 hours or until the rice is tender.

• 20 minutes before ending cooking time add mushrooms - cover and finish cooking time.

• Stir well and serve with fresh parsley.
